Search Approach

We approach the search process with a basic framework, which is subtly tailored after consultation with each client to ensure that its culture, philosophy and requirements are successfully met, and transmitted to the candidates throughout the search process.

At the beginning of the search, the senior consultant will commence with mapping and researching the agreed market place. H.E.S. is able to draw upon the consultants extensive network and expertise within the industry to ensure that this is as comprehensive as possible.

The same senior consultant will be responsible for approaching and screening the potential candidates identified - only those who are positively vetted will be invited for an initial interview with the senior consultant.

The shortlist will be selected from these interviews. This will comprise those candidates who are of exceptional calibre and exhibit the necessary of skill set and cultural fit. The formal client interview process will then commence. Throughout this process the senior consultant will remain actively involved, maintaining a hands-on approach with both the client and all the candidates.

When an offer is to be made, it is essential for the candidate to be comfortable. H.E.S. has an exceptional completion rate, resulting from the continuous involvement of the same senior consultant with the candidate throughout the process, generating a relationship of transparency, trust and empathy.

The closing stage of the process culminates in an incredibly emotional decision for the candidate. Therefore it is fundamental that both H.E.S and the client remain closely engaged in the process to ensure a successful conclusion.
